It’s so strange how cultural trends shift. Throughout history, in many different cultures, the Aquiline nose was viewed as a symbol of high status, nobility, intelligence, power and leadership. We can easily become convinced that distinctive features are not to be desired when we’re young but they are actually what make us unique as individuals. I think your nose is beautiful and perfect as it is by the way and it’s great that you realised that even though it took a long time.

I have been away from the group because I lost my phone a week ago.... I'm glad I came here though. I experienced a quantum leap around the leap day, and it has been great, and it has also been a LOT.

This past week I realized that I have the ability to shift negative feelings in my body pretty much instantaneously. As soon as I consciously receive the message the uncomfy feeling came to give me, I can dissolve it & go back to feeling fully at peace and in flow. With this newly discovered ability, I also discovered the addiction I have had to the feeling of suffering or pain. Maybe not addiction in the common sense, but more of an embedded reliance - a fear that if we are NOT suffering, that we’re doing something wrong. It’s like I felt MORE unsafe NOT feeling bad.
